Senior SaaS Architect & Team Lead (AI-Native Platforms)

Location: Kottat, Chalakudy

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SaaS Architect and Team Lead to own the design, development, and delivery of our multi-tenant SaaS platforms at Jobin & Jismi.

This is not a coding-only role.

This is a leadership role for someone who can architect systems, guide teams, and embed AI into the core of modern SaaS products. You will define engineering standards, mentor developers, and build scalable, secure, AI-native applications from the ground up.

If you’ve spent years thinking deeply about tenant isolation, RBAC, billing systems, scalability, and security compliance, this role is built for you.

What You’ll Do

- Own Platform Architecture
- Design and evolve multi-tenant SaaS architectures
- Define patterns for scalability, performance, reliability, and security
- Make key decisions on system design, infrastructure, and trade-offs
- Lead Engineering Teams
- Mentor and lead a team of 5+ engineers across backend, frontend, and DevOps
- Set coding standards, review architecture, and enforce best practices
- Foster a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement
- Build AI-Native Capabilities
- Integrate LLM-driven features into products
- Design and implement RAG pipelines and AI workflows
- Work with vector databases and AI orchestration frameworks
- Drive End-to-End Delivery
Own the lifecycle from design development deployment

- Ensure delivery timelines without compromising quality
- Design Robust SaaS Systems
- Implement tenant isolation models and access control (RBAC)
- Architect billing, subscription, and usage tracking systems
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, GDPR, and other standards

What We’re Looking For

We are not hiring juniors or very senior architects.





We are looking for high-impact engineers in the 3–6 year experience range—the sweet spot where strong fundamentals meet execution speed.

Core Requirements

- 3–6 years building SaaS products (must-have)
- Proven experience architecting multi-tenant, cloud-native applications
- Strong backend expertise in at least one:
- Node.js / Python / Java / Go
- Hands-on frontend experience with:
- React / Vue / Angular
- Cloud experience with:
- AWS / Azure / GCP
- Docker + Kubernetes
- Solid database knowledge:
- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
- API design expertise:
- REST, GraphQL, WebSockets

AI & Modern Stack Exposure

- Experience integrating LLMs into real products
- Familiarity with:
- LangChain or similar frameworks
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
- Vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS)

Leadership & Systems Thinking

- Led engineering teams of 5+ developers
- Strong understanding of:
- Tenant isolation models
- RBAC systems
- Billing and subscription architectures
- Security and compliance (SOC 2, GDPR)
- Ability to balance:
- Performance vs scalability vs maintainability

Nice to Have

- Experience with B2B SaaS platforms
- Exposure to ERP or CRM systems
- Integrations with NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Experience as a founding engineer in an early-stage startup
