The System Administrator Level III (Cameyo) serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cameyo Virtual Application Delivery (VAD) solutions within enterprise environments. The role is responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting Cameyo integrated with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Chrome Enterprise. The administrator will lead complex troubleshooting, performance tuning, security enhancements, and platform optimization while providing Level 3 technical support and architectural guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain the Cameyo Virtual Application Delivery platform.
- Design, deploy, and optimize Cameyo application delivery in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 environments.
- Configure and manage Chrome Enterprise policies for secure application delivery.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex Cameyo, VDI, and application delivery issues.
- Optimize application performance in multi-session and virtual desktop environments.
- Design and implement integration patterns between Cameyo, AVD, Windows 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and enterprise identity services.
- Manage application packaging, publishing, version control, and lifecycle management.
- Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and availability while recommending improvements.
- Collaborate with Security, Identity, Networking, and Cloud teams to ensure secure and compliant deployments.
- Develop automation using PowerShell and Azure automation tools to streamline administration.
- Create technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and knowledge base articles.
- Provide Level 3 operational support and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 administrators.
- Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery planning, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Recommend best practices for browser optimization, virtual application delivery,
and user experience.
Required Technical Skills
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience administering Cameyo Virtual Application Delivery.
- Robust experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365.
- Experience with Chrome Enterprise and Chrome Browser Cloud Management.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy, Conditional Access, and Intune.
- Experience with Windows Server administration and Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
- Knowledge of application virtualization and publishing technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting profile, authentication, printing, and application performance issues.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Understanding of Azure networking, storage, identity, and security concepts.
- Knowledge of enterprise monitoring and logging tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience integrating Cameyo with ChromeOS environments.
- Experience with FSLogix profile management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, and Zero Trust architecture.
- Familiarity with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, VMware Horizon, or similar virtualization technologies.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and performance optimization.
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, End User Computing (EUC), Virtualization, or VDI administration.
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on Cameyo administration, implementation, and support.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale virtual application delivery environments.
Complexity
- High Architecture, design, implementation, optimization, performance tuning, security, and Level 3 technical advisory.
