Job brief :

We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong writing and research skills to join our growing company as a Content Writer. This role focuses on developing engaging written and visual content for our website and social media websites is a key part of growing our business.

Responsibilities

- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.
- Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media posts, creatives, brochures, etc., along with the company website.
- Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
- Creating and executing a content calendar.
- Researching and writing high-quality content like product descriptions, user manuals, website content, etc.
- Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
- Hands-on experience with writing copies, using SEO tools, and contributing to marketing projects.
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
- Identifying company’s needs and recommending current content to address gaps in the company's current content.



Requirements and skills
- Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio. ? Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions
- Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously. ? Strict adherence to the style guides of the company and their policies
- ? Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
- Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with colleagues, and management.
