Role Description The Supply Chain Coordinator, Operations & Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position is responsible for coordinating daily supply chain activities, including order processing, inventory tracking, and ensuring timely procurement and replenishment of tools, safety products, and industrial materials.

The role involves supporting sales operations by preparing quotations, following up with customers, coordinating with vendors, and aligning delivery schedules with client requirements.



The coordinator will work closely with internal teams to optimize warehouse operations, maintain accurate documentation, and support logistics planning. The role also includes monitoring product availability, resolving order or delivery issues, and contributing to consistent customer service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, track inventory trends, and support decision-making in supply chain and sales operations.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to coordinate orders, manage workflows, and support logistics and warehouse activities.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to maintain stock accuracy, plan replenishment, and minimize shortages or overstock situations.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, manage order-related issues, and ensure a positive experience for clients.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field are beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP or inventory management software, along with attention to detail and time management, is preferred.
- Prior experience in industrial products, distribution, or a similar operations and sales coordination role will be an advantage.
