Role & responsibilities
- Design and analyze RCC and steel structures (PEB & Non-PEB) for residential, commercial, and industrial projects (warehouses, pipe racks, equipment foundations) in accordance with IS codes (IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893) and AISC standards.
- Independently handle the design of slabs, beams, columns, footings, and steel structures, ensuring safety, serviceability, and optimized material usage.
- Perform structural modeling and analysis using ETABS, STAAD Pro, and SAFE, considering wind, seismic, crane loads, and equipment loads.
- Prepare and verify design calculations, BOQs, and Design Basis Reports (DBR) as per project and client requirements.
- Apply AISC design principles for steel structures, including member design, connections, and appropriate load combinations.
- Coordinate with drafting teams to develop RCC detailing and steel drawings,
ensuring constructability and alignment with design intent.
- Collaborate with architectural, MEP, and PMC teams to resolve design clashes and achieve effective project coordination.
- Address site queries (RFIs), conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure quality through design checks, peer reviews, and compliance with IS/AISC codes and ITC standards.
- Participate in meetings, contributing to technical discussions and project progress.
Preferred candidate profile
- M. Tech in Structural Engineering
- Minimum 10+ Years of skilled experience (full time).
