Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Location: Pune

Work Mode: 5 Days Work from Office

Shift Timing: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM

Experience: 6 years +

Job Summary

We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supplier sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and supporting procurement activities. The role requires solid analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.
- Manage RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Perform spend analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Business teams.




- Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Support procurement process improvements and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare sourcing reports, supplier performance dashboards, and procurement metrics.

Required Skills

- Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
- Knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Experience with RFQ/RFP processes and vendor selection.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or Coupa is preferred.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working with global suppliers.
- Exposure to IT procurement.
- Knowledge of cost optimization, category management, and supplier performance management.
