Key Responsibilities
- Receive materials and verify them against Purchase Orders (PO), delivery challans, and invoices.
- Inspect incoming materials for quantity and quality; report discrepancies or damages.
- Maintain accurate records of material inward, outward, and stock balance.
- Issue materials to project teams based on approved material requisitions.
- Maintain bin cards, stock registers, and ERP/Excel inventory records.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage of materials using FIFO (First In, First Out) where applicable.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishment.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the store.
- Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and vendors for material movement.
- Prepare inventory, consumption,
and stock-aging reports.
- Prevent material loss, damage, and pilferage through proper controls.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2 10 years of experience in stores management, preferably in interior fit-out or construction projects.
- Knowledge of inventory management and material handling.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/inventory software.
