Job Title: Store Manager

Department: Store / Inventory

Reporting To: Principal / Admin Manager

Job Summary The Store Manager is responsible for managing the institute's store operations, including inventory control, stock management, procurement coordination, and maintaining accurate records. The role ensures the timely availability of materials while minimizing stock shortages and wastage.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate records of all stock receipts, issues, and balances.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Receive, inspect, and verify materials from vendors.
- Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, invoices, and stock registers.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Accounts Departments regarding procurement and payments.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling,



and safety of all inventory items.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Monitor slow-moving, damaged, and expired items and take appropriate action.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and inventory management procedures.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in store or inventory management (experience in an educational institution is preferred).
- Knowledge of inventory management software and MS Excel.
