Role & responsibilities :

- Receive materials from suppliers and verify quantity and quality with purchase orders and delivery challans.

- Maintain proper records of inward and outward materials in registers or software.

- Monitor stock levels and inform the purchase department for replenishment.

- Ensure proper storage of cement, steel, pipes, fittings, electrical, and mechanical materials.

- Issue materials to site engineers and supervisors as per approved requests.

- Maintain stock registers, material issue slips, and daily reports.

- Conduct regular physical stock verification and inventory control.

- Prevent material damage, wastage, or theft at the site store.

- Coordinate with purchase, accounts, and project teams.





- Maintain housekeeping and safety in the store area.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree / Diploma in any field (civil background preferred).

- 3–7 years of experience in construction or infrastructure project stores.

- Knowledge of construction materials and store management.
