House of SK is looking for someone to run the billing desk and manage the store day to day.

This is more than a billing job. You'll be the face of the store and the person who keeps everything running — customers, staff, stock, and the numbers. If you present yourself well, get along with people, and stay on top of details, we'd like to meet you.

What you'll do

- Handle billing quickly and correctly, even when the store is busy
- Greet and help customers, and close sales with good product knowledge
- Keep the store stocked, flag items running low, and arrange restocking on time
- Maintain store data — daily sales, stock counts, returns and records
- Keep day-to-day accounts — record daily sales and expenses, track cash in and out, and maintain purchase and supplier bills
- Prepare daily and monthly sales reports and a simple dashboard for the founders
- Do end-of-day cash reconciliation and report any mismatch
- Keep GST bills and records in order for the accountant
- Manage the floor when it's busy and coordinate with other staff




- Deal with all kinds of customers patiently, including the difficult ones
- Run the store on your own when needed

Who we're looking for

- Well-groomed and presentable
- Confident talking to people and comfortable in a busy store
- Good at sales and customer handling
- Hands-on with billing software / POS (Tally, Vyapar, GoFrugal or similar — tell us what you've used)
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge — daily accounts, expense tracking, cash handling
- Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets for stock and sales tracking
- Good with numbers and honest with cash
- Organized, reliable, and shows up on time
- Works well with a team
- Stays calm under pressure
- Must know Tamil and English; Hindi is a big plus

- 7 days a week (week-off / shift can be discussed)
