Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Storage & Backup Administrator to manage, support, and optimize enterprise storage and backup infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Dell EMC PowerMax, PowerScale (Isilon), EMC NetWorker, Commvault, and Data Domain platforms. The role involves administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery operations, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability of storage and data protection environments.

Key Responsibilities

Storage Administration

- Administer and manage Dell EMC PowerMax storage arrays.
- Configure and maintain storage provisioning, LUN masking, zoning, and replication technologies.
- Monitor storage performance, utilization, and capacity planning.
- Perform storage migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.
- Troubleshoot storage-related issues and coordinate with vendors for resolution.

PowerScale (Isilon) Administration
- Manage and support Dell EMC PowerScale clusters.
- Configure SMB, NFS, and multiprotocol access environments.
- Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity utilization.
- Execute upgrades, patching, node expansions, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure file system availability and data integrity.

Backup & Recovery Administration
- Administer and support EMC NetWorker and Commvault backup environments.
- Configure backup policies, schedules, media management, and retention policies.
- Perform backup monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery operations.
- Conduct periodic backup validation and disaster recovery testing.
- Ensure compliance with backup and data retention standards.

Data Domain Administration
- Manage Dell EMC Data Domain appliances.
- Configure replication, retention lock, encryption, and deduplication settings.
- Monitor storage utilization, performance,



and replication health.
- Perform upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning.
- Integrate Data Domain with NetWorker and Commvault environments.

Operational Support
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Prepare and maintain operational documentation and SOPs.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support as required.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and organizational standards.

- 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage and backup administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with:

- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments and mission-critical applications.
