Job Accountabilities

- Maintain and maximize reliability & availability of Static Equipment & Piping of Stanlow Refinery as per industry benchmark / internally set targets / KPIs.
- Manage and review RBI assessment works, ensuring technical integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Leverage outcomes of RBI assessments to optimize inspection scopes and intervals, ensuring optimization of overall inspection costs.
- Collaborate with refinery stakeholders to develop and implement integrity programs, including Dead Leg Management, CUI Project etc.
- Ensure timely execution of integrity projects while maintaining alignment with industry standards, corporate procedures, and business objectives.
- Maintain optimal team capacity by proactively managing recruitment for attrition and replacement requirements, ensuring uninterrupted project delivery and business continuity.
- Develop, review, and maintain Corrosion Control Documents (CCDs) for refinery process units, ensuring alignment with corrosion management strategies, RBI outcomes, and industry best practices. Provide technical expertise for metallurgy selection, and material upgrades.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on Integrity assessments and reports, identifying discrepancies and driving improvements in data quality; Ensure high-quality deliverables through systematic review and approval of team outputs
- Monitor overall equipment performance and implementation of reliability improvement initiatives. Publish guidelines, Learning s from failures, safety alerts, and newsletters to site.
- Support for minor and major projects.
- Support troubleshooting and provide expertise on major & critical static equipment failures.
- Review and standardize static equipment inspection practices and maintenance strategy.
- Drive concept of reliability tools such as RBI,FFS, RCA techniques.
- Prepare and review equipment design specifications, DEPs.
- Initiate,



perform and monitor reliability studies / modifications for equipment reliability.
- Provide support & guidelines for online monitoring of static equipment & piping health.
- Support for procurement / services for scope finalization, vendor selection.
- Review site shutdowns planning and ensure work optimisation through TA schedule RBI and WSE review
- Oversee Training & development of engineers to enhance their skill sets /competency.
- Represent in industrial forums, conferences, seminars and gain industry wide experience of maintenance practices and technology improvements.

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

- Ability to balance trade-off between reliability and production.
- Profound knowledge of Static equipment inspection practices, corrosion monitoring systems, damage mechanisms, metallurgy, welding NDTs etc.
- Familiar with Risk Based Inspection, RCA techniques, Repair techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of Static equipment operation and maintenance
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and Regulations
- Understanding various cross functional knowledge
- Teaming, Leading, and developing people
- Decision making, Strategic direction & Managing Change
- Analytical thinking ability for planning and troubleshooting
- Robust organizational skill, delegation skill and prioritization
- Conflict resolution and grievance redressal skill

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications) BE / ME / B Tech / M Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering with 15+ years of maintenance experience with minimum 3 years as Static Reliability head. Managerial experience of at least 5 years in oil and gas, Petrochemical, Refinery industry. Experience of Centre of Excellence (CoE) or Offshore Design Centre (ODC) is desirable.
