Position: Static Equipment Engineer

Qualification: BE/BTech(mechanical)

Responsibilities

- Execute design engineering activities for static equipment such as pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, air coolers, and storage tanks.

- Identify project requirements, available data, and define the scope of work for the discipline.

- Prepare and issue technical specifications, mechanical data sheets, purchase requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.

- Review vendor documents to ensure compliance with project and engineering standards.

- Provide inputs and support for calculation reports, MTO/BOQ/BOM, and weight control documentation.

Requirements

- Solid knowledge in the design of static equipment including reactors, pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, air coolers, and storage tanks in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div1/Div2, API 650/620, and TEMA standards.

- Basic understanding of materials of construction such as carbon steels and corrosionresistant alloys (CRA).

- Handson experience with design software tools such as PV Elite, COMPRESS, and ETANK.
