CanKids KidsCan is a national NGO working towards improving access to quality treatment, care, and support services for children with cancer and their families across India. Founded in 2004, CanKids works at grassroots, district, state, and national levels in collaboration with hospitals, government stakeholders, NGOs, and CSR partners to strengthen childhood cancer care systems.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced State Coordinator to lead and manage the implementation of CanKids National Outreach Program at the state level. The role involves program leadership, government and hospital partnerships, team management, budgeting, reporting, monitoring, and ensuring effective delivery of services for children with cancer and their families.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management & Implementation

- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of state-level programs.
- Ensure implementation of annual plans, budgets, and program objectives.
- Monitor delivery of commitments under partner MoUs.

Stakeholder Management

- Develop and maintain relationships with government departments, hospitals, NGOs, and healthcare partners.
- Represent CanKids at state-level meetings, forums, and collaborations.

Team Leadership

- Manage and support project managers, social workers, and field teams.
- Conduct team reviews, training, and capacity-building activities.

Monitoring, Reporting & MIS

- Ensure timely and accurate MIS reporting through Salesforce or similar platforms.




- Prepare program reports, dashboards, and impact documentation.
- Support evaluation studies and assessments.

Partnerships & Resource Mobilization

- Support CSR partnerships, donor engagement, and fundraising initiatives.
- Build community and corporate partnerships.

Operations & Quality Management

- Monitor CHSU and HAH service delivery standards.
- Oversee patient support services, treatment coordination, travel assistance, and welfare activities.

Required Qualifications

Education:

- MBA / MHA / Masters degree in Public Health, , or related field.

Experience:

- 412 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in healthcare, public health, NGO, or development sector preferred.

Required Skills
- Solid program leadership and coordination skills.
- Government stakeholder management experience.
- Project planning and budget management.
- Team management and capacity building.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Knowledge of MIS systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Fluency in English and Hindi; regional language proficiency desirable.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
