Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Staff Nurse with experience in Critical Care Units (CCU, ICU) and the Emergency Room (ER). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, respond effectively to emergencies, monitor critically ill patients, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, monitor, and document patients' clinical conditions accurately.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and emergency patients.
- Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and defibrillators.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
- Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures, intubation, central line insertion, and resuscitation.
- Perform CPR and participate in code blue and emergency response teams.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation.
- Ensure strict infection prevention and patient safety practices.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions.




- Coordinate with doctors and allied healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
- Maintain cleanliness, availability, and functionality of emergency and critical care equipment.

Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Minimum 1–6 years of experience in CCU, ICU, or ER (freshers with relevant critical care training may also be considered).

- Knowledge of emergency and critical care protocols.
- Ability to work under pressure and make timely decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) is an advantage.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in handling ventilated patients and cardiac emergencies.
- Familiarity with ECG interpretation, emergency medications, and critical care procedures.
- Experience in trauma and emergency management is an added advantage.

Work Schedule
- Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as per hospital requirements.
