Job Summary The Senior Safety Officer (Backend Operations) will be responsible for managing all backend HSE documentation, compliance, reporting, audits, statutory records, safety management systems, and coordination with project teams. The role focuses on developing, monitoring, and maintaining safety documentation and ensuring organizational compliance with applicable safety regulations and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and maintain all HSE documentation and safety records.
- Develop Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment (RA), Method Statements (MS), SOPs, and Permit-to-Work documentation.
- Coordinate with project sites to collect and consolidate daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
- Prepare safety statistics, dashboards, KPIs, and management reports.
- Maintain statutory compliance records and ensure timely documentation updates.
- Coordinate internal and external safety audits.




- Maintain ISO documentation related to Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems.
- Track safety observations, NCRs, CAPA, and closure status.
- Maintain incident, near-miss, accident, and investigation reports.
- Coordinate safety training records, certifications, induction reports, and competency matrices.
- Prepare client-specific HSE documentation during project mobilization.
- Ensure document control and version management for all safety-related records.
- Coordinate with HR, Projects, QA/QC, and Site Safety Teams for compliance activities.
- Support tender documentation by preparing HSE-related submissions.
- Monitor legal updates related to construction safety and recommend necessary changes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) / Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 6–10+ years of experience in Industrial Construction, Structural Steel, PEB, Infrastructure, EPC, or Manufacturing.
- Strong experience in backend HSE documentation and compliance management.




- Experience working with multiple construction project sites is preferred.
