in Join the VTeamLife What you ll be doing As a Senior Manager of Network Systems you lead the delivery team for Wireline Inventory suite of applications including Common Network Database and Discovery you will enable Network engineers to build the equipment inventory for the next gen wireline network for Verizon You and your team will provide applications support and deliver reliable and efficient systems-related solutions You will be working in some of the cutting-edge technologies and emerging tech and driving the network platform to the next level in its journey to the north star architecture You will champion and drive business initiatives partnering with cross functional teams and leadership to define prioritize execute and track the KPIs You will be driving innovation as a culture with the teams through various methods You will be working with architecture teams vendors to drive the programs to success and enable better user experience for our Verizon network customers In this role you will be responsible for Experience Ability to learn Network Domain Owning the program delivery and working closely with the onshore manager and the teams India and US Including performing technical work directly and guiding the team on architecture design and on-the-job challenges Drive efforts to strategize plan and implement the short term and long-term goals of building a robust repeat-at-scale efficient model for the inventory domain that will encompass standard north star architecture across systems It will also include SOE SRE DevSecOps Security Stability Scalability and Availability tools and processes in place Lead a team of high performing engineers working on multiple projects and releases Managing vendors on the ARTs or Non-ART programs domain teams Conceptualize Manage the execution of large projects Defining measuring and driving teams to achieve KPIs Defining the product vision and customer experience and bringing it to the global market Forging strong relationships with external partners and cross-functional teams to get it all done Mentor team members in software development skills and leadership responsibilities Partner with senior leadership to build business cases for new technology adoption Managing and tracking budgets and financials Where you ll be working In this hybrid role you ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager What we re looking for This role needs someone with continuous innovation and broad technical skills You should be able to create lead shape and execute programs and initiatives to improve people skills process optimisation and contemporary technology adoption to create higher value for the business Focus on empathizing with the users to You ll need to have Bachelor s degree or relevant work experience 10 or more years of relevant work experience Network Telecom domain knowledge and Industry view Experience in Agile SAFe Scrum delivery management Software development experience in a diverse set of areas including scalable and responsive web applications native app development reusable and extensible frameworks Experience in diverse technology stack including Java J2EE Python Spring Reactive Micro-services React JS and Micro Frontends including experience leading multiple technical teams in such technologies Ability to build SME knowledge in the team and set goals for the individual which will effectively utilize their individual skills Experience in cross skilling team members Experience working with business stakeholders and operations to coordinate adoption of projects Even better if you have one or more of the following Experience knowledge in GenAI NLP Chatbots is preferred Experience in driving OSS implementation Project management certification e g PMP ACP Problem solving and analytical skills Technical knowledge and learning mindset Exceptional communication skills written oral and presentation Experience working in an evolving and collaborative environment and working cross-functionally with all levels of management Convey your ideas in compelling and persuasive ways to a
