Roles &

Responsibilities

- Preparation of BOQ &
- Estimate of Project within Time Schedule and send to VP Engineering for approval
- Source quotations from contractors & create CSQ to analyse best offer
- Issue approved Work Order to contractors with specifications & scope of works without errors
- Verification of requisitions received from Site Engineer with estimated BOQ and send to Material Co-coordinator
- Preparation of Yearly Fund Flow & submission to Accounts department, quarterly & yearly , with revisions as per project progress with proper co ordination with PM & management.
- Preparation of monthly estimation reports of all sites upto 5th of every month
- Monitor / Coach / Motivate team to either achieve or over achieve their KRAs
- Review proposal specifications and drawings and attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
- Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality or availability of materials




- Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and man hour figures
- Determine critical path schedule and sequence of work
- Prepare estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work; price work items
- Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current (accurate) information on prices from suppliers
- Attends project site pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews as required
- Gather and monitor actual cost vs. estimated cost, maintaining project cost history

Experience &

- Educational Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience
- DCE / BE (Civil)
