Job Title: Senior Design EngineerJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting projects from concept through manufacturing and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and review engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Lead product design and development activities from concept to production.
- Create 2D/3D models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Inventor).
- Conduct design calculations, feasibility studies, and engineering analyses.
- Ensure designs comply with customer requirements, quality standards, and applicable codes.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, quality, and project teams to optimize product design.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, product improvement, and process optimization.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior design engineers.
- Participate in design reviews, prototype testing, and product validation.
- Coordinate with customers and vendors on technical queries and design modifications.




- Ensure projects are completed within budget and timeline.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in engineering design and product development.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, or Inventor.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, GD&T;, manufacturing processes, and material selection.
- Experience with BOM preparation, design validation, and engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with FEA/CFD analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
