Title: Event & Alert Management Automation Engineer

Location: 100% Remote- India

Duration: 6-month contract (Potential to extend)

Logline : Experience needed with PagerDuty and Splunk On-Call (VictorOps)

Role Summary

Responsible for administering and optimizing enterprise event and alert management platforms while developing automation and scripting solutions to streamline alert routing, escalation workflows, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and optimize enterprise alert management platforms including Client On-Call, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow integrations
- Design and implement automation and scripting solutions to streamline alert routing, escalation workflows, and operational processes
- Develop and maintain API integrations, webhooks, and automation scripts to support large-scale platform configuration and migration
- Configure and manage services, escalation policies, teams, and alert routing logic
- Analyze alert patterns and system telemetry to reduce alert noise and improve signal quality
- Refine platform rulesets,



escalation paths, and routing logic based on operational metrics and performance monitoring
- Collaborate with IT operations, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to align alerting strategies with service ownership
- Support enterprise Event Management (EVM) initiatives , including platform migration and operational governance
- Develop technical documentation, runbooks, and configuration standards
- Track and report alert KPIs and operational performance metrics

Required Skills

- 4–6+ years experience with Client On-Call, PagerDuty, or similar incident management platforms
- Robust scripting and automation experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and platform integrations
- Familiarity with ServiceNow incident workflows
- Experience managing alerting platforms in large enterprise environments
- Strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills
