Roles and Responsibilities :

- Responsible for Sourcing &
- Vendor Management of Tooling, Consumables &
- Capital Equipment. Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality suppliers for procuring CNC cutting tools (end mills, drills, inserts, taps), tool holders, Boring Bars, vices, chucks and specialized raw materials, consumables &
- Capital equipment.

- Collaborating with Manufacturing Team to interpret technical drawings and bills of materials (BOMs). Ensure that the tooling specifications exactly match production requirements.

- Manage procurement and release of purchase orders for tooling, consumables, capital goods - mother machine and its accessories and OEM supplier as per company SOPs.

- Responsible for supplier development, negotiations on warranty claims management with back-to-back warranty arrangements.

- Oversee tooling inventory levels. Implement or optimize automated tooling management systems to prevent stockouts while reducing carrying costs. Ensuring the uninterrupted flow of materials & other services required to produce Machine &

- Mold as per production plan.

- Negotiate pricing, lead times,



payment terms and volume discounts with major tooling manufacturers and local distributors. Manage annual blanket purchase orders for high-use tooling & consumables.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities through alternate sourcing, process improvements, or vendor consolidation. Stay updated on global commodity prices, currency fluctuations, and trade regulations
- To provide the necessary techno commercial expertise, advice, information for Vendor Development for existing as well as new projects/business. Developing and maintaining valuable buyer-seller relationships with all stakeholders.

Vendor support & development & indigenization of components as per requirements.

Job Requirements :

- Qualification – Diploma / Degree - Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Tool &
- Die Making / Production)

- Experience &

Skills – Up to 15 years of core in End-to-End PR-to-PO procurement process of tooling’s, consumable, capital goods etc.

- Exposure in tool room/ machine building industry environment.

- Knowledge of Machining processes would be added advantage.

- Knowledge of SAP S4 HANA would be added advantage.
