Brief Description The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) is responsible for building and deploying AI-powered solutions for enterprise customers, engaging directly with clients to understand their business challenges and designing scalable AI solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to build and deploy AI-powered solutions for enterprise customers. This is a customer-facing engineering role that combines software engineering, solution architecture, AI implementation, and technical consulting.

As an FDE, you will work directly with customers to understand business challenges, design scalable AI solutions, integrate enterprise systems, and own deployments from concept to production. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex business problems using Artificial Intelligence while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Discovery & Solution Design

- Engage with enterprise customers to understand business workflows, challenges, and objectives.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions and identify AI automation opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions.
- Design solution architecture, workflows, integrations, and deployment strategies.
- Prepare technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.

AI Solution Development
- Design and develop AI-powered applications and intelligent agents.
- Build enterprise solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Develop autonomous AI workflows capable of reasoning, retrieving information, and executing actions.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.




- Create prompt engineering strategies and evaluation frameworks.
- Build reusable AI components for future customer implementations.

Software Engineering
- Develop scalable backend services and production-grade applications.
- Build REST APIs, GraphQL services, and microservices.
- Integrate enterprise applications using SDKs, APIs, and webhooks.
- Develop reliable data pipelines.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Follow software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, documentation, code reviews, and version control.

Enterprise Integrations Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as:

Implement secure authentication mechanisms including OAuth, JWT, SAML, API Keys, and Single Sign-On (SSO). Deployment & Production Ownership
- Deploy AI applications into production environments.
- Monitor system health, scalability, reliability, and latency.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
- Improve deployment automation and release processes.
- Optimize AI inference costs and resource utilization.
- Implement monitoring and observability best practices.

Collaboration Work closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, ML Engineers, Platform Engineers, Solution Architects, Customer Success teams, and enterprise stakeholders to deliver business value through AI solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience designing scalable backend applications.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently drive projects in fast-paced environments.
