As a Solar Senior Engineer, you will provide technical service and support to solar energy customers, ensuring the reliable operation and performance of solar power systems. You will work closely with customers, field teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade activities across installed solar assets. Your role will be critical in maintaining operational stability, maximizing system availability, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality technical support and service delivery.

Responsibilities

- Perform installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of solar power systems and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues, execute upgrades and retrofits, and ensure optimal system performance.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers, providing technical support, training, and guidance on system operation.
- Maintain service documentation, issue tracking, and maintenance records while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.




- 8+ years of experience in field service engineering with a focus on solar power systems and commercial or industrial-scale solar projects.
- Strong expertise in solar system installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles, test equipment, and system diagnostics.
- Strong analytical, investigation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience in customer relationship management, technical support, issue tracking, and quality assurance.
- Experience with large-scale solar power installations and renewable energy projects.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards, quality processes, and performance optimization practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in customer-facing environments.
