Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Appian Developer with 3–15 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) solutions using the Appian platform.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Appian application development, process automation, integrations, and workflow optimization. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality business applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using the Appian BPM platform.
- Develop and customize Appian components including SAIL Interfaces, Process Models, Records, Expressions, and Reports.
- Build and maintain Appian workflows, business rules, and process automation solutions.
- Develop reusable Appian components and follow Appian development best practices.
- Integrate Appian applications with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Integration Objects, and Web APIs.
- Develop and optimize Appian RPA solutions for business process automation where applicable.
- Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in application design, code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.




- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance following Appian best practices.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes for application deployment.
- Prepare technical documentation, design documents, and user guides.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and solution design.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Appian BPM development.
- Hands-on experience with SAIL, Process Models, Records, Interfaces, Expressions, and Rules.
- Experience with Appian Integration Objects, Web APIs, REST APIs, and SOAP Web Services.
- Knowledge of Appian RPA and business process automation.
- Strong SQL programming skills.
- Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
- Basic knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
- Experience with LDAP authentication and security integration.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Appian Certified Associate Developer, Senior Developer, or Lead Developer certification is preferred.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale BPM and workflow automation projects.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.
