Role Description The Software-Defined Vehicle Intern will support the design, development, and testing of software and control systems for electric and autonomous vehicles. Day-to-day activities may include assisting in requirements analysis, writing and reviewing embedded software modules, running simulations,



and helping integrate software with hardware components on test benches and trial vehicles.

The intern will collaborate with engineers across disciplines to debug issues, document findings, and contribute to prototype builds and proof-of-concept demonstrations. This is an internship role, based on-site at DORLECO’s facility in Pune City, offering hands-on experience in a high-intensity R&D; environment and exposure to real-world eMobility and autonomous vehicle projects.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in programming (e.g., C/C++, Python, or similar) and understanding of software development practices for embedded or real-time systems.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems, vehicle architectures, or control systems, with interest in eMobility and autonomous vehicle technologies.
- Familiarity with electronics or mechatronics concepts, such as sensors, actuators, communication buses (e.g., CAN), and microcontrollers or ECUs.
- Ability to use engineering and development tools (e.g., version control systems, debugging tools, simulation or modeling environments like MATLAB/Simulink) is an advantage.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team on-site in Pune City.
