Role: Social Research Expert

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan

Experience: 10+ Years

- Develop and implement social research frameworks, methodologies, and tools for assessment of government schemes and development programmes.
- Design and conduct baseline, midline, endline, impact assessment, and concurrent evaluation studies.
- Lead social audits, beneficiary verification, field surveys, and stakeholder consultations to assess programme effectiveness.
- Develop research instruments, questionnaires, sampling frameworks, and data collection protocols for qualitative and quantitative studies.
- Analyse research findings, prepare reports, policy briefs, and recommendations for programme improvement and evidence-based decision-making.
- Coordinate with government departments, implementing agencies, field teams, and other stakeholders for successful execution of research activities.
- Build the capacity of social audit teams, field investigators,



and departmental officials through training programmes and technical guidance.
- Ensure quality assurance, ethical research practices, data validation, and compliance with prescribed research standards and government guidelines.
- Prepare monthly/weekly progress reports, presentations, and documentation for departmental, inter-departmental, senior management, and Government of India (GoI) reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Subject Matter Expert with 10 years and above of relevant experience in Social Research, Social Audit, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E;), Impact Assessment, Public Policy, or Development Sector.
- Postgraduate in Social Work, Sociology, Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Rural Development, Statistics, or any allied discipline from a recognized institute/university.
