About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and client-focused Social Media Account Manager to lead key client accounts and drive strategic communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advertising, branding, digital marketing, and integrated communication, with the ability to manage client relationships while coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver impactful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Understand client objectives, business challenges, and marketing goals.
- Present campaign ideas, creative concepts, and performance reports.
- Manage client expectations and ensure timely communication.

Account & Project Management

- Lead end-to-end execution of integrated marketing and advertising campaigns.
- Coordinate with Creative, Copy, Design, Digital, Media, Production, and Strategy teams.
- Prepare project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Maintain quality control across all deliverables.

Strategy & Campaign Planning

- Develop integrated communication strategies across digital, social media, ATL, BTL, and influencer marketing.
- Collaborate with the strategy team to identify market opportunities and campaign directions.
- Translate client briefs into actionable project plans.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimization strategies.

Business Development

- Identify opportunities for account growth and cross-selling agency services.
- Contribute to new business pitches and presentations.




- Support proposal development and commercial negotiations.

Team Leadership

- Mentor and guide Account Executives and Account Managers.
- Allocate work efficiently across team members.
- Foster collaboration between internal departments.
- Ensure adherence to agency processes and service standards.

Reporting & Analytics

- Track campaign KPIs and prepare client performance reports.
- Analyze campaign effectiveness and present actionable insights.
- Monitor budgets, profitability, and account health.

Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

- 5–8 years of experience in an advertising, media, branding, or integrated communication agency.
- Experience handling multiple high-value client accounts.
- Exposure to digital marketing, influencer campaigns, media planning, and brand strategy.
- Proven track record of client retention and business growth.
