About The Role The Site Operations Engineer at Tech Data plays a vital role in maintaining the stability, reliability, and continuous enhancement of our digital platforms. This position involves managing and resolving incidents, bugs, and operational issues across our web solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business activities. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and strong stakeholder management skills, acting as a key operational representative within the Digital Business unit.

The role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with production systems, influence operational standards, and make a tangible impact on service quality. This position is flexible and can be based anywhere in Europe or APJ, subject to local hiring policies.

Qualifications The successful candidate will bring over three years of experience supporting or developing web solutions, particularly using C# .NET technologies. A solid understanding of incident and change management processes, preferably with exposure to ITIL v4 standards, is essential.



Proficiency in C# (.NET Framework), ASP.NET MVC, and REST APIs is required.

Experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or Prometheus, along with log analysis tools like Datadog, Graylog, or Application Insights, is highly desirable. Candidates should have a background working within Agile or Scrum environments and demonstrate the ability to lead incidents through to resolution. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory. Additional certifications in ITIL, cloud platforms, or observability tools are advantageous.

Responsibilities Lead and manage incident response efforts, ensuring proper triage, prioritization, investigation, and resolution within defined SLAs.

Conduct root-cause analysis and collaborate with architects and developers to identify technical solutions for bugs and operational issues.

Track, manage, and resolve P1-P4 incidents, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.

Identify recurring issues and platform trends to proactively reduce incident volume and enhance system reliability.

Act as change lead for bug fixes and operational improvements, coordinating across teams to implement updates smoothly.

Maintain high standards in incident documentation and backlog management, ensuring accurate reporting and data hygiene.

Mentor and support other SiteOps team members,



fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing workplace.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with Security, DevOps, QA, Development, UX, Architecture, and Business teams.

Continuously develop expertise in Tech Data web solutions and operational processes to improve platform performance.

Support the SiteOps development team with technical debt tasks to ensure a bug-free platform and optimal operational efficiency.
