Nalli Silk House is a 95-year-old Indian heritage brand running a Shopify Plus ecommerce store (Nalli.com). We need a part time Shopify Plus tech lead — someone who owns our platform technically, coordinates external dav agency when necessary, handles day-to-day fixes, and is our go-to person for anything that touches the site. It is a part time role (20–25 hours/week)

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

•

The Nalli.com Shopify Plus platform — uptime, performance, security, feature integrity

•

Agency coordination — Coordination with dev agency handling sprint work when needed. You define scope, review their estimates, QA their code, and ensure they ship on time

•

Day-to-day fixes and minor builds — things that need not wait for an agency sprint cycle. Theme tweaks, app configurations, checkout adjustments, tracking fixes.

•

Product roadmap management — requests come from the Ecommerce Head, marketing, and senior leadership. You prioritise, estimate, and push them through sprint cycles or fast-track as needed.

•

Integrations — payment gateways, logistics providers (Eshipz etc.), CRM/marketing tools (WebEngage, Klaviyo etc.), analytics (GA4, Meta Pixel, server-side tagging).

•

Site health monitoring — page speed, Core Web Vitals, checkout flow, mobile experience, payment gateway stability





MUST HAVE

•

3+ years working with Shopify Plus

•

Shopify Liquid, theme architecture, checkout extensibility, Shopify APIs, Shopify Flow

•

Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript — you can build and fix, not just review

•

Experience managing or working with external dev agencies

•

Integration experience: payment gateways, logistics APIs, third-party apps, marketing tools.

•

GA4, Meta Pixel, conversion tracking, server-side tagging — either hands-on or solid working knowledge.

•

Git, staging/production environment management

NICE TO HAVE

•

Experience with Indian ecommerce stack

•

Shopify Plus migrations (Magento → Shopify or similar).

•

Headless commerce / Hydrogen familiarity.

•

Performance marketing tech: product feed management, dynamic remarketing pixel setup.

ENGAGEMENT TERMS

•

20–25 hours/week on a monthly basis.

•

Remote/ In person

•

Long-term: initial 3-month engagement with renewal based on performance.

•

Availability expected during Indian business hours (10am–7pm IST) with flexibility for urgent issues outside hours.

- Weekly sync with the Ecommerce Head. Direct WhatsApp/Slack access for day-to-day.
