Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations during their assigned shift. This role owns the timely movement of work through the production pipeline, ensuring orders are completed on time, quality standards are maintained, and operational bottlenecks are resolved quickly.
The Shift
Supervisor is accountable for keeping work flowing, coordinating teams, and ensuring that every order is cleared according to service level agreements (SLAs).

Take complete ownership of all orders during the assigned shift.
Ensure all assigned orders are processed and cleared within agreed turnaround times.
Monitor live queues and prioritize work based on urgency, customer commitments, and production capacity.
Escalate high-priority or at-risk orders before they become overdue.
Follow up with teams to eliminate pending work and maintain workflow continuity. Team Supervision
Supervise day-to-day activities of production staff.
Assign work based on workload, skills, and priorities.
Ensure adequate staffing throughout the shift.
Conduct shift handovers with clear communication of pending work and priorities.
Coach team members to improve productivity and quality.
Operational
Excellence
Monitor productivity and workflow throughout the shift.
Identify bottlenecks and implement immediate corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Coordinate with Quality, Customer Service, and Operations teams to resolve issues quickly.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure work meets company quality standards before completion.
Verify that process guidelines and customer specifications are followed.
Maintain compliance with company policies and operational procedures. Reporting
Prepare end-of-shift reports, including:
Orders received
Orders completed
Pending orders with reasons
SLA performance
Productivity metrics
Quality issues
Resource or system concerns
Escalate recurring operational issues to management with recommended solutions.
