About The Role The role is a pivotal position within Tech Data’s IT and Digital Transformation team, focusing on SharePoint development, architecture, and integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint Online solutions that enhance organizational productivity and collaboration. This position requires a professional with a strong foundation in SharePoint core skills, development expertise, and familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable, efficient SharePoint solutions, leveraging modern web development frameworks and tools. Additionally, they will play a role in supporting DevOps practices, source control, and potentially integrating AI-driven tools to optimize workflows and content management processes.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in SharePoint development and architecture. Strong technical skills in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React are essential.

Experience with REST APIs,



Microsoft Graph API, JSON formatting, XML, CAML, and C# for CSOM is required. Familiarity with PowerShell (PnP), Power Automate, and Power Apps is highly desirable. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a quick learning curve for new technologies.

Strong data entry, mathematical, and presentation skills are also important to succeed in this role. A background in DevOps tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, npm, Node.js, Gulp, and Yeoman Generator will be advantageous. Knowledge of AI tools like GitHub Copilot, M365 Copilot, and Copilot Studio is a plus.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, web parts, extensions, and workflows aligned with organizational needs.

Architect SharePoint site structures, lists, libraries, content types, permissions, and security settings to ensure optimal content management and access control.

Create custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, and other modern web technologies to enhance user experience and functionality.

Implement and manage managed metadata, taxonomy, and document management systems to streamline content classification and retrieval.

Develop and maintain REST API integrations, leveraging Microsoft Graph API for seamless data connectivity across Microsoft 365 services.

Utilize Power Automate and Power Apps to automate workflows and develop custom business applications.

Participate in DevOps activities, including source control management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation using Git, Azure DevOps, and related tools.





Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver projects within agreed timelines.

Stay updated with emerging SharePoint and Microsoft 365 features, recommending improvements and innovative solutions.

Assist in AI integrations and explore new tools like Copilot Studio to enhance productivity and content management capabilities.
