Job Title: Service Manager – Construction Equipment

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our Construction Equipment Service Department. The ideal candidate will manage workshop and field service operations, ensure excellent customer support, improve equipment uptime, and achieve service performance targets while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day workshop and field service operations.
- Lead and supervise service engineers and technicians.
- Plan preventive maintenance and breakdown service activities.
- Ensure timely diagnosis and repair of construction equipment.
- Monitor service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and provide effective solutions.
- Process warranty claims as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Coordinate with the spare parts department to ensure timely parts availability.
- Prepare service quotations, maintenance contracts, and cost estimates.
- Monitor service KPIs including technician productivity, response time, first-time fix rate, and equipment uptime.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and company procedures.
- Prepare weekly and monthly service performance reports.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives and team development.

Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in the construction equipment, earthmoving equipment, or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, powertrain, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/service management systems.

Preferred Experience Experience servicing construction equipment such as:
