We are currently hiring Service Engineers across multiple locations in South India:
- Chennai
- Bengaluru
- Coimbatore

Role Overview
As a Service Engineer at HVK, you will work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support hydraulic systems and solutions. This role provides hands-on exposure to industrial hydraulic applications and an opportunity to develop deep technical expertise through training and field experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, inspect, and service hydraulic systems and equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs on hydraulic equipment.
- Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams and schematics.
- Inspect, test, and maintain hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and power packs.
- Prepare accurate service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support to customers and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Work closely with engineering and sales teams to deliver high-quality customer solutions.
- Follow company safety standards and quality procedures during all service activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, hydraulics, or related engineering fields.
- Fresh Mechanical Engineering graduates with strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Knowledge (Advantageous but Not Mandatory) Candidates with exposure to any of the following areas will have an advantage:
- Hydraulic systems and hydraulic circuits
- Hydraulic pumps (gear, piston, and vane)
- Hydraulic motors
- Directional control valves
- Pressure control valves
- Flow control valves
- Hydraulic cylinders
- Hydraulic power packs
- Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics
- Hydraulic troubleshooting techniques
- Use of diagnostic equipment such as pressure gauges, flow meters, multimeters, and other testing tools
- Basic understanding of electrical control systems and PLCs
- Computer skills for service reporting and technical documentation
