Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accessibility Tester with a strong background in digital accessibility testing and compliance standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with industry-standard accessibility testing tools, a deep understanding of accessibility regulations, and expertise in evaluating digital products against WCAG guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive accessibility testing for web and mobile applications.
Validate applications against WCAG standards and accessibility compliance requirements.
Conduct manual accessibility testing using industry-standard assistive technologies.
Identify, document, and track accessibility defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure accessibility compliance.
Provide recommendations and guidance for accessibility improvements.
Ensure compliance with global accessibility regulations and standards.
Mandatory Skills
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Accessibility Testing.
Solid hands-on experience with:
JAWS
ZoomText
Dragon Naturally Speaking
Experience using mobile accessibility features:
VoiceOver (iOS)
TalkBack (Android)
Strong understanding of
WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
Section 508
UK Disability Act
European Accessibility Act (EAA)
Solid knowledge of different disability types and their impact on user experience.
Experience working with Project Managers and cross-functional teams throughout the software testing lifecycle.
Strong manual accessibility testing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
IAAP Certifications such as
CPACC
WAS
CPWA
