Company Description STEMx Group is a pioneer in bringing cutting-edge technology into K–12 education and training, with a focus on making STEM learning playful and impactful. Since 2016, the organization has introduced hands-on robotics, coding, and early STEM concepts using LEGO Education resources.
STEMx operates offline studios in Bangalore, India, and runs an online STEM program with learners from multiple countries, including India, Dubai, USA, Singapore, England, Nepal, Canada, and Japan. The group partners with over 100 schools across India to deliver in-school STEM programs. For more than seven years, the founders have worked closely with parents, teachers, schools, and government bodies to make subjects like robotics, coding, 3D printing, electronics, and drones engaging and relevant for students.
Role Description The Senior STEM Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Shirpur, responsible for delivering high-quality STEM instruction to K–12 learners. This role involves designing and facilitating engaging lessons in robotics, coding, 3D printing, electronics, and related STEM domains, using hands-on and project-based learning approaches.
The educator will plan and adapt curricula, create lesson plans aligned with learning outcomes, and assess student progress through regular evaluations and feedback. Daily tasks include teaching classes, mentoring learners,
coordinating with school staff and STEMx teams, and supporting training sessions for educators. The Senior STEM Educator will also contribute to program improvement, maintain classroom resources and equipment, and help foster an inclusive, safe, and curiosity-driven learning environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust Teaching and Education experience, ideally within STEM subjects and K–12 environments.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and curriculum design skills to create structured, outcome-focused learning experiences.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication and Training skills to guide students and collaborate with educators, parents, and school partners.
- Candidates should possess the ability to integrate hands-on technologies (e.g., robotics kits, coding platforms, 3D printers, electronics) into classroom activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, STEM, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in leading or coordinating STEM programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms, support diverse learning needs, and promote an inclusive, student-centered learning culture.
- Comfort with using digital tools for lesson delivery, assessment, and communication; experience with LEGO Education or similar platforms is an advantage.
