We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer - Java with 5+ years of hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java 11+, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and cloud-native development on AWS, along with solid exposure to databases, messaging systems, containerization, and contemporary DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices principles.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Build scalable solutions that support high throughput, low latency, and reliability in production environments.
- Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, and DynamoDB.
- Develop and integrate event-driven systems using Kafka and related messaging patterns.
- Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.




- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to architecture, tools, and development practices.
- Work closely with product, QA, architecture, and other cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions effectively.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong experience with Java (11+), Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms - Amazon Web Services.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, DynamoDB).
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
- Solid understanding of data structures, multithreading, and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Stay updated with modern technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Experience in Payment domain is a must.
