Senior Software Engineer - Energy Components (Hybrid Work Model)

Job Purpose

We are looking for Software development skilled to work at an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Energy Component products (Oil Gas Domain) in an Agile environment.

- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable Java code

- Collaborate with global teams, identify risks, and suggest improvements.

- Document changes and mentor junior developers

- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

- And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- 5 7 years of Core Java Java EE experience.

- Strong knowledge of MVC, JDBC, RESTful services, and OOP design patterns.

- Experience with JSF (PrimeFaces preferred), SQL/PL-SQL (Oracle), JUnit, and Selenium.

- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins) and Agile practices.

- Basic knowledge of JavaScript,



GraphQL.

Nice to Have

- Ability to design and develop AI models and algorithms from scratch, leveraging machine learning techniques for predictive analytics and optimization.

- Experience implementing AI solutions seamlessly integrate with existing enterprise systems to enhance functionality and user experience.

- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and infrastructure required for effective AI deployment.

- Work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to align AI initiatives with organizational goals and deliver business value.

- Familiarity with frameworks and exposure to NLP or computer vision would be a plus.
