About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer in Test to work on a cross-functional team solving real-world problems for healthcare providers around the country. Using your technical expertise, you'll design, build, and automate the tests that ensure our features help customers run their business and provide patient care. You'll work primarily in Playwright and lean on modern AI-powered tools to test smarter and faster.

Your Area of Focus

- Own quality within a scrum team: test user stories manually and automate them, raise the quality bar early, and give the team clear visibility into results each sprint.
- Build and maintain our Playwright (TypeScript) automation framework, writing regression, smoke, and end-to-end tests with parallel, cross-browser execution.
- Use AI-powered tools to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and debugging - and help the QA org evaluate, pilot, and adopt emerging AI/LLM testing tools responsibly.
- Design test strategies for AI/LLM-powered features (prompt/response validation, non-determinism, output evaluation) where applicable.




- Partner across Engineering and DevOps to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, define test plans, and estimate work during sprint planning.
- Document test cases and manage clear, actionable bug reports in Jira.

Your Professional Qualifications

- 5-8 years in SDET/QA automation, with hands-on manual and automated testing of web applications in an agile environment.
- Strong Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) automation skills and solid programming fundamentals; experience contributing to functional and regression suites end-to-end. Selenium, Java, or other frameworks/languages are a plus.
- Hands-on use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude) and AI-augmented testing tools to write, refactor, and debug automation, or a transparent drive to adopt them. (Strongly preferred.)
- Solid grasp of QA methodologies (functional, regression, BDD, performance, black-/white-box) plus API test automation for REST services.
- Comfortable with GitHub and CI tools like Jenkins for integrating automation into CI/CD.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication skills and technical leadership

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience in the US healthcare technology domain (claims, eligibility, EHR/EMR, HIPAA compliance)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
