Position:- Senior Resident (Obstetrics & Gynaecology)

Location:- Kanpur

Position:- 01

II. JOB PURPOSE To assist in the patient care by maintaining quality standards of the organisation.

III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

- Accompany Consultant doctors on IPD wards visit.
- Conduct medical procedures under supervision after getting the consent from patients attendant.
- Complete and correct documentation of patient files & records.
- Check and authorize all diagnostic requisition slips.
- Make available emergency medicines in Ward.
- Monitor the Nursing care Proper Medication, timely vitals recording etc.
- Attend to emergencies, and inform consultant doctors for further action.
- Providing information regarding the patients condition to his/her attendant whenever required.
- Check the diet chart, medicine chart, and vitals chart frequently.
- Coordinate with all nursing/Paramedical & non-medical staff of the department to maintain a high standard of medical care for the patients.
- Provide care and treatment to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
- Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions.
- Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow-ups throughout patients care.
- Perform and document physical examination and history.
- Formulate a differential diagnosis.
- Develops and documents an initial plan of care, modifies daily plan of care,



and writes daily progress notes.
- Obtain and document informed consent.
- Prepare an appropriate discharge summary.
- Follows Hospital policies at all times and seeks and provides inputs, as and when required.
- Documentation - Proper documentation of all medical records related to patients according to quality standards (NABH).
- Any other responsibility assigned by the management.

- Updating and maintenance of Medical Record Documents of patients.
- Reporting Occupational & Environmental Issues to HOD.

V. JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATION

Minimum

Qualifications

- MBBS, MD/MS/DNB on Obstetrics & Gynecology

Experience

- 0-3 Years
