Experience

- 8–12 years of experience in digital transformation, e-governance, technology program management, digital product implementation, or large-scale government technology initiatives.
- Experience working with State Governments, PMUs, system integrators, or technology consulting organizations is preferred.
- Experience in managing cross-functional stakeholders across government, technology, and program teams.
- Prior experience in implementation of digital public infrastructure, government platforms, or enterprise applications is desirable.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management, Public Policy, or a related discipline.

Purpose of the Role The Senior Manager – Digital Transformation will lead the coordination and implementation of digital transformation initiatives under the State Project Management Unit (PMU) with a Ministry in the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The role will act as the critical interface between government departments, technology partners, implementation agencies, and internal program teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of digital platforms supporting scholarship governance and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end implementation of digital transformation initiatives with State Government departments, IT partners, and internal program and technology teams.
- Act as the key interface between government, program, and technology stakeholders to ensure digital platforms are aligned with operational needs and implementation realities.
- Lead requirement validation, stakeholder sign-offs, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination, rollout planning, and district-level implementation readiness.




- Drive go-live preparedness and post go-live stabilization, including issue tracking, escalation management, and adoption support.
- Coordinate with government-appointed IT partners and system integrators to monitor project timelines, integration priorities, deliverables, and implementation progress.
- Maintain project governance mechanisms including status reporting, risk tracking, dependency management, and leadership updates.
- Support platform adoption through stakeholder engagement, feedback management, and continuous improvement inputs.

Travel Requirement

- Approximately 20% travel , based on project needs.

Project Brief Piramal Foundation is implementing a systems-change program to strengthen the government ecosystem to ensure equitable access to secondary education for girls from marginalized communities.

Through this program, the Foundation aims to address fragmented governance, redundant verification processes, delayed grievance redressal, and the lack of real-time data visibility to improve the scholarship ecosystem's ability to respond to at-risk girls in a timely manner.

The overarching objective is to transform scholarships into a powerful policy instrument that supports sustained improvements in secondary school retention at scale.

The program seeks to impact a critical mass of eligible girls by increasing access to centrally sponsored scholarship schemes.

It aspires to drive end-to-end reform of the scholarship ecosystem by combining:

- Governance strengthening.
- Process simplification.
- Technology enablement.
- Capacity building.
- Community ownership.

By addressing both supply-side inefficiencies and last-mile access barriers, the program seeks to transform scholarships from a fragmented welfare mechanism into a reliable, scalable instrument for keeping girls in school.
