Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Pre-Sales Engineer / Solution Architect with 8+ years of experience in enterprise and service provider networking, with solid focus on Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba solutions. The role requires deep technical expertise, customer-facing consulting capability, solution design skills, and strong commercial understanding to support sales teams in developing winning proposals and solution architectures.

The ideal candidate should be capable of engaging with customers, understanding business and technical requirements, translating them into solution designs, preparing BOM/BOQ, conducting technical presentations, supporting RFP/RFQ responses, and positioning OEM-aligned solutions across campus, data center, wireless, security, and network management domains.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales and Solutioning

- Engage with customers to understand business, technical, and operational requirements.
- Design end-to-end networking solutions using Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba technologies.
- Prepare HLD, solution architecture, scope documents, and technical proposals.
- Support sales teams in customer meetings, workshops, discovery sessions, and technical discussions.
- Map customer requirements to suitable products, licenses, support models, and services.
- Conduct solution presentations, demos, whiteboarding sessions, and technical workshops.
- Prepare BOM/BOQ, sizing, solution assumptions, exclusions, and dependency mapping.
- Support technical compliance for RFP/RFQ/RFI submissions.
- Work with OEMs/distributors for solution validation, pricing alignment, and bid support.

Technical Design and Architecture

- Build solution architectures around:

- Enterprise LAN/WAN

- Campus wired and wireless

- Data center networking
- SD-WAN

- NAC and policy control

- Network security integration
- Network management and assurance platforms
- Prepare migration, implementation, and integration approach for proposed solutions.
- Recommend scalable and resilient architectures for enterprise and large campus environments.




- Develop technical response documents including design notes, architecture diagrams, and implementation scope.

OEM-Specific Focus

- Juniper: EX, QFX, MX, SRX, Mist Wired Assurance, Mist Wireless, Marvis, Apstra, SD-WAN basics
- Cisco: Catalyst switching, Catalyst Wireless, Meraki, Nexus, ACI basics, SD-WAN, ISE basics, DNAC/Catalyst Center
- Aruba: CX switching, Aruba wireless, Aruba Central, ClearPass basics, SD-WAN/Silver Peak awareness

Bid and Commercial Support

- Support proposal teams in defining technical scope and services scope.
- Validate part codes, licensing models, subscriptions, and support SKUs.
- Coordinate with internal delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and implementation readiness.
- Participate in effort estimation, project assumptions, and risk identification from a pre-sales perspective.

Required Skills and Experience

- 8+ years of overall experience in networking, with strong exposure to pre-sales / solution consulting roles.
- Strong hands-on and design-level knowledge of Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba product portfolios.
- Experience in designing solutions for:

- Campus networks

- Enterprise wireless

- Data center connectivity
- WAN/SD-WAN

- Network access control

- Managed network services
- Good understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP/HSRP, EVPN-VXLAN basics, QoS, multicast basics, and security segmentation.

- Ability to create

- Experience handling RFP/RFQ responses and customer technical clarifications.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelors degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics / Telecommunications or equivalent.

Preferred Certifications One or more of the following will be an advantage:

- Juniper: JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP
- Cisco: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE (preferred)
- Aruba: ACMA, ACSA, ACSP, ACCX
- Additional certifications in wireless, security, data center, or cloud networking will be beneficial.
