Summary:

Responsible for gathering requirements, conducting infrastructural analysis, and producing robust designs that adhere to approved Company technologies, ensuring the design meets all Company technology and security policies.

Responsibilities:

- Meet with peers, engineers, application teams, and users to ensure all high-level requirements are met.
- Generate products such as Technical Architecture Documents, technical memos, logical flows, and models to keep users, architects, and engineers updated and in agreement on the architecture and infrastructure layout of an application, system, or platform.
- Ensure all architectural products and products with architectural input are maintained in their most current state and never become obsolete.
- Implement, manage, and support application infrastructure components while leveraging current standards and best practices.
- Resolve internet architectural and operational problems impacting infrastructure and product availability and performance globally.
- Contribute to the definition of new standards and research and evaluate new technology for possible deployment in Company&rsquos; internet infrastructure.
- Engage in ongoing regional projects as assigned, including planning, time and cost control, resource utilization, and implementation.
- Contribute to incident/problem diagnosis and root cause analysis.
- Provide input into performance tuning, capacity planning, and configuration management for Company components.




- Assure system stability and future compatibility by monitoring production execution of all relevant systems.

Requirements:

- Bachelor&rsquos; Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to systems architecture, new technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
- Participation in global technology initiatives for system and platform architecture.
- Demonstrated initiative in building relationships with colleagues from multiple areas within Company.

Required Skills:

- Positive knowledge of Web application architecture (API, WEB, UI, and Java Applications).
- Good knowledge of middleware technologies (Web Servers-Apache, Application Servers Tomcat, Messaging-Topic and queue, Caching).
- Intermediate knowledge of compute (CPU and Memory) and Storage allocation to servers for VM Builds.
- Intermediate knowledge of load balancers like F5 and web application firewalls.
- Intermediate knowledge of network and operating system principles.
- Good knowledge of cloud architecture concepts.
- Working knowledge of Database technologies like Oracle, Postgres, Redis.
- Working knowledge of DNS, Akamai.
- Solid knowledge of techniques or methodologies to achieve non-functional requirements like reliability, availability, resilience, performance, security.
- Working knowledge of Role-Based Access Control, Authentication and Authorization mechanisms, exposure to tools like ISAM or Site Minder.
- Proficient in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies or DevOps tools like Chef/Jenkins.
