Job Summary

Talented and experienced Network Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our MES Digital Factory. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust and secure network infrastructure that supports our critical manufacturing processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure for the MES Digital Factory, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Define network topology, routing protocols, and security configurations. Develop and implement network documentation and standards.
- Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems.
- Network Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance and identify bottlenecks. Analyze network traffic and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency and capacity. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and implement corrective measures.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures. Configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools to protect the network from threats. Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.




- Automation and Scripting: Develop and implement scripts for network automation tasks, such as device configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Utilize network management tools and platforms to streamline network operations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, and Engineering, to ensure seamless network operations. Clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactively identify and resolve network-related issues that impact production efficiency.

Competencies Required

Technical Skills

- DBMS platforms like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB
- Networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Network monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios
- MES systems
- VLANs, VPNs, and network security
