Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.

- Perform various types of testing including functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure the software meets business requirements.

- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to gather requirements and ensure thorough understanding and validation of the software features.

- Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools like Azure DevOps, ensuring they are resolved and validated effectively.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression testing suites using tools such as Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.

- Participate in release validation activities, providing detailed test reports and ensuring that quality assurance standards are met.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and automation coverage to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

- Support Agile delivery teams by integrating testing activities into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong focus on manual testing of web applications and APIs.

- Proven hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright and scripting languages like TypeScript/JavaScript.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.

- Experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps, ALM, Jira, and defect management processes.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Experience in API automation testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

- Knowledge of CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions, and familiarity with Git version control systems.
