The incumbent will be responsible to oversee the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering aspects for power transmission substations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and efficiency of substation infrastructure, in compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.

- Lead and coordinate the design of substation foundations, buildings, structural supports, and other civil infrastructure of high-voltage substations of 220/440/765KV with proficiency in designing of equipment supporting structures, Tower and Beam, Substation Building, Fire water, Pump House, Retaining & Boundary walls etc.

- Develop detailed design, drawings, specifications, and calculations using relevant engineering software. Manage civil design activities throughout project lifecycles, from conceptual design to construction support.

- Collaborate with electrical engineers, project managers,



and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of civil and electrical components.

- Ensure all civil designs adhere to local, national, and international standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, ACI, ASCE) and comply with environmental and safety regulations

- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, soil investigations, and technical analysis to ensure structural stability and longevity.

- Identify potential structural risks and develop mitigation strategies to enhance safety and minimize project delays

Participate in site visits for surveys, inspections, and commissioning activities

- Bachelor / masters degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

- Minimum 10-12 Years of experience in structural analysis and foundation design for substation infrastructure.

- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS

- Solid understanding of substation components, construction practices, and material specifications.
