About the role
On behalf of our client, a leading AMC, we are hiring a Manager / Senior Manager - Institutional Sales to manage and grow the institutional sales business, servicing existing clients while acquiring new corporates and institutions.
Key responsibilities
- To service the existing Clients & acquire and handle new corporates / institutions
- Develop and maintain relationship with all clients and channel partners
- Increasing the market share & brand recall of the AMC's Mutual Fund business
- Interacting with clients/ Institutional Channel partners, understanding their needs and providing them the solution
- To update clients with market and scheme related information
- Knowledge of Mutual Funds is a must with good understanding of fixed income market of India
- Responsibility to build,
manage and enhance the client relationship value with the house
- Has to generate and grow business and maintain consistent interaction with the relationships
- Knowledge of Passive Products (ETFs / Index Funds) will be an added advantage
- Would also be responsible for handling the respective distributors in the Institutional segment
Candidate requirements
- MBA with 8-10 years of relevant experience, currently driving Institutional Sales within the Mutual Fund / AMC industry
- Proven experience managing Banks, Large Corporates, and Institutional Clients, with a track record of mobilising business through these channels
- Good understanding of ATFs / ETFs as investment products is a strong plus
- Strong flair for investment advisory, well informed on financial markets and economic conditions
- Valuable communication skills - verbal and written, with a flair to build long-term rapport
- AMFI certification is compulsory
