Job Overview:

The Senior Lifeguard Sagar Safar is responsible for conducting the Educational Sea Swim & Beach Safety Program for tourists across Goa's beaches. The role focuses on ensuring participant safety, delivering beach and water safety education, promoting responsible sea recreation, and providing guidance on safe swimming practices. The Senior Lifeguard serves as a safety ambassador while creating a protected, informative, and engaging experience for visitors.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct educational sea swim sessions for tourists in designated beach areas.
- Educate visitors on beach flags, rip currents, waves, tides, and safe swimming practices.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during all sea-based activities.
- Assess sea conditions and determine the suitability of activities based on weather and surf conditions.
- Demonstrate safe entry, exit, and swimming techniques in the surf zone.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide rescue assistance and first aid when required.
- Promote responsible tourism and beach safety awareness.
- Maintain lifeguard and rescue equipment in operational condition.
- Coordinate with Beach Marshals, Lifeguards, and operational teams to ensure smooth programme execution.




- Prepare daily activity reports and maintain attendance and incident records.
- Participate in training programmes and operational briefings.
- Uphold company policies, SOPs, and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

- Certified Lifeguard (Mandatory).
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surf-zone operations, sea conditions, beach safety and water rescue techniques.
- Minimum 25 years of lifeguarding experience preferred.
- Tourist engagement
- Ability to clearly communicate and brief the visitors in English and Hindi is mandatory where as Marathi / Konkani is preferred
- Emergency response
- Observation & vigilance
- Team Management

Working Conditions

- Seasonal Contract: September / October to March/April
- Shared accommodation provided
- Salary: upto 20,000 Gross / month dependent on full time / part time basis
- Work involves prolonged outdoor / beach duties in varying weather and sea conditions
- Willing to work on weekends, public holidays and rotational shifts
- Full time / part time basis both options available
