We are seeking an experienced Senior JDE Technical Developer to join our team for an 8-month remote contract supporting GSF. This role is heavily technical (80%) with a functional touch (20%), requiring strong hands-on expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development, custom modifications, system integration, and basic functional troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Development (80%):
- Design, code, test, and implement custom JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications (Interactive & Batch applications/NERs/C BSFNs).
- Develop and maintain interfaces, data conversions, and integrations using Orchestrator, BSSVs, and flat files/tables.
- Perform technical analysis, code reviews, performance tuning, and bug fixes on existing JDE customizations.
- Work with Object Management Workbench (OMW) to manage project objects through standard deployment lifecycles.
- Functional & User Support (20%):
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specs.
- Provide tier-2/3 technical and light functional support across core JDE modules (e.g., Distribution, Financials, or Manufacturing).
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support go-live/post-implementation activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years of robust hands-on technical experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (version 9.1 / 9.2 preferred).
- Core Technical Stack:
- Proficient in Event Rules (ER), Named Event Rules (NER), C Business Functions (BSFNs), and OMW toolsets.
- Solid hands-on experience with JDE Orchestrator for modern integrations.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and underlying JDE database architecture.
- Functional Awareness: Basic functional understanding of key JDE modules (Finance, Supply Chain/Procurement, or Distribution).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for client-facing interaction during US shift hours.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently in a remote offshore setup with minimal supervision.
