Role Description The Senior Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Kolkata, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end HR function and serving as a strategic partner to leadership. This role includes designing and implementing HR policies, managing recruitment and onboarding, and leading performance management and talent development initiatives.

The manager will handle employee relations, guide conflict resolution, and ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational standards. Daily responsibilities also involve supervising HR operations such as payroll coordination, perks administration, and HR analytics to support data-driven decision-making. The individual will collaborate closely with department heads to forecast workforce needs, drive engagement and retention programs,



and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the organization.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in core HR management areas, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Experience designing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks aligned with local labor regulations.
- Proficiency in HR operations, such as payroll coordination, benefits administration, HRIS usage, and reporting.
- Strong skills in coaching, talent development, and succession planning to support leadership and team growth.
- Ability to lead organizational change, drive engagement initiatives, and foster a positive, inclusive work culture.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the capacity to build trust at all levels.
- Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably managing a team and partnering with senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort using data to inform HR decisions and strategy.
- Availability to work on-site in Kolkata and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
