Role Title: Senior HR Manager

Location: Hyderabad

Reporting To: MD

Role Purpose

Lead and manage end-to-end Human Resources operations across the organisation, including recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance, employee relations, HR systems, performance management, training, employee engagement, and policy implementation.

The role requires strong leadership, operational ownership, and strategic thinking to ensure accurate payroll, timely hiring, statutory compliance, and efficient HR operations across all manufacturing units and distribution centres. The Senior HR Manager will drive continuous improvement, standardisation of HR processes, adoption of technology, including AI-enabled recruitment practices, and lead the HR team to deliver a high-performing people function.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Lead end-to-end recruitment across all functions and levels.

Drive recruitment through

- Workforce planning with department heads.
- AI-powered sourcing, candidate screening, and talent mapping.
- Use of AI tools to create job descriptions, interview guides, candidate communications, and recruitment marketing content.
- Interview coordination and scheduling.
- Candidate assessment and selection.
- Background verification and documentation.
- Offer rollout and joining follow-ups.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Maintain manpower tracker and organisation structure.
- Build talent pipelines for critical positions.
- Improve recruitment turnaround time and quality of hire.

1. Payroll & Statutory Compliance

Own payroll execution with high accuracy and timelines.
- Run payroll on Keka HRMS.
- Review and validate payroll prepared by the HR team.
- Manually prepare and validate: Attendance and leave data. Salary inputs and deductions.
- Prepare and process: ESI challans, PF challans, Professional Tax (PT).
- Ensure 100% statutory compliance and audit readiness.
- Coordinate labour law inspections and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour legislation.

1. Employee Records & HR Operations

Lead HR operations across all locations.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date personnel records.
- Track: Attendance and leave, Employee lifecycle changes.
- Support disciplinary processes and documentation.
- Ensure data accuracy across all HR systems.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the Junior HR Executive, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure efficient execution of day-to-day HR operations.

1. Training & Development

Lead employee learning and development initiatives.
- Maintain and execute the training calendar.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Track participation and completion status.
- Identify organisational capability gaps.
- Support leadership development initiatives.

1. Performance Management

Lead execution of the performance management process. Support execution of: Confirmation reviews,Annual performance appraisals.

Prepare and analyse data for:



Increments,Promotions, Performance improvement initiatives.

Support managers in conducting fair and objective performance reviews.

1. Employee Engagement & Culture

Champion a positive, engaged, and high-performance workplace culture.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives across all locations.
- Coordinate employee recognition and reward programs.
- Support internal communication initiatives that strengthen company culture and values.
- Organise employee events, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities.
- Gather employee feedback and recommend actions to improve engagement, retention, and employee experience.
- Partner with leadership to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

1. HR Systems & Process Adherence

Drive operational excellence across HR.
- Ensure strict adherence to HR policies and processes.
- Drive standardisation of HR practices across units.
- Support implementation and optimisation of HR systems.
- Improve HR workflows through automation and digital tools.
- Promote responsible use of AI to improve HR efficiency while maintaining fairness, compliance, and data privacy.

1. HR Budgeting & Manpower Planning

Support organisational growth through effective workforce planning and cost management.
- Prepare and monitor the annual HR budget, including recruitment, training, employee engagement, and HR operational expenses.
- Partner with business leaders to develop annual manpower plans aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor headcount against approved budgets and recommend workforce optimisation where required.
- Track recruitment costs and HR expenditure to ensure effective budget utilisation.
- Provide workforce analytics and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

1. MIS & Reporting

Prepare and publish HR MIS reports.

Track key metrics

- Recruitment turnaround time.
- Payroll accuracy.
- Compliance status.
- Attrition.
- Headcount.
- Training completion.
- Employee productivity metrics.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management. Provide data-driven insights to support leadership decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 7 - 10 years of progressive HR experience, with increasing responsibility in HR operations and people management.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environment.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
- Hands-on experience managing payroll for 100+ employees, preferably using Keka HRMS.
- Strong working knowledge of ESI, PF, Professional Tax (PT), labour laws, and statutory compliance,



with experience supporting audits and regulatory inspections.
- Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, HR budgeting, and manpower planning.
- Experience leading and mentoring junior HR team members and driving high standards of execution.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-powered recruitment and HR productivity tools, including candidate sourcing, screening, creation, interview preparation, and recruitment process optimisation.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS platforms, reporting, and HR analytics.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, strong execution discipline, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Self-driven leader with a continuous improvement mindset and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
